175 hours
To do this subscript 2500 from 6000 and u get 3500 then divide that by 20 to get 175

Write an inequality expression based on the problem
$2,500 is a fixed cost, it will be the constant of the inequality. $20 is a variable cost because it changes every hour. For an instance, x hour is the maximum amount of hours. The inequality will be:
2,500 + 20x ≤ 6,000

Solve the value of x
2,500 + 20x ≤ 6,000

substract both sides by 2,500
2,500 - 2,500 + 20x ≤ 6,000 - 2,500
20x ≤ 3,500

divide both sides by 20

(20x)/(20) = (3,500)/(20)
x ≤ 175
The maximum amount of hours is 175
