In spite of the Burmese Pythons are originally from Southeast Asia, these species of snakes had a really big increase in the 2000s, especially from 2008 to 2010 in the South Florida region. These animals are commonly seen in the Everglades National Park and lately, the number of them has been increasing so much, that it already got over 300 pythons.
