⓵ You have to multiply the price by the trade discount pourcentage to determine the amount of the trade discount :

8% = 8 ÷ 100 = 0.08

52,99 × 0.08 = 4.2392

Which means that 8% of 52.99$ equals a trade discount of about 4.24$.

⓶ You need to subtract the trade discount amount from the selling price to determine the selling price net :

52.99 - 4.24 = 48.75$

Which means that the selling price net is → 48.75$

I really hope this helped, let me know if there’s anything! ☻
