The purpose is To help get America through the Great Depression

The Works Progress Administration was a program created by Roosevelt that employs millions of unskilled people to work in Government projects.
By Doing this, Roosevelt aim to reduce the amount of employment, give the people enough cash to help sustain themselves, and attract many investments to help America through Great Depression
