Someone, please help me. If a 100-N net force acts on a 50-kg car, what will the acceleration of the car be? Also, After that same car leaves a platform, gravity causes it to accelerate downward at a rate of 9.8 m/s^2. What is the gravitational force on the car?

a) F = ma
.. 100 = 50a
.. a = 2 . . . . . . . . m/s^2

b) F = ma
.. F = (50 kg)*(9.8 m/s^2) = 490 N . . . . . downward
