What similarities and differences do prokaryotes have with modern day green plants

For similarities we have: presence of genetic material in both (DNA), presence of RNA presence of ribosomes, presence of cell wall and presence of a matrix fluid that is called a cytoplasm.

For differences we have: prokaryotic cells do not have the so-called library, a membrane that holds genetic material separate from the cytoplasm. That is, while in a prokaryote cell the genetic material is found in the cytoplasm, in the cells of modern green plants the genetic material is found in an organized nucleus. Prokaryotic cells also lack some organelles such as mitochondria and the Golgi complex, while plant cells do.
