y=Ab^x, b is the rate of change and x is the time period.

It can be seen that it is a GP, therefore
b=(y_(n))/(y_(n-1))

From the given table we can see at x=1 , y=0.25

At x=2 ,y=0.125

The multiplicative rate of change of the function
b=(y_2)/(y_1)=(0.125)/(0.25)=0.5

At x=3 ,y=0.0625

The multiplicative rate of change of the function
b=(y_3)/(y_2)=(0.0625)/(0.125)=0.5

Thus multiplicative rate of change of the exponential function is 0.5 .
