Missing question:
mass of ammonium chloride (NH₄Cl) + mass of sand (SiO₂) = 1.222 g + 6.158 g = 7.38 g
m(initial sample) = 10,000 g.
m(sodium chloride-NaCl) = m(sample) – (m(NH₄Cl) + m(SiO₂))
=
= 10 g – 7,38 g = 2,62 g.
Answer is:
d. 2.620 g.
