Americans embraced the industrialization of America by altering their lifestyle into a consumerism and Individualistic lifestyle.
Those behaviors reflect the fear that Average American citizen have due to the abundance of goods and the competitive nature that Created in Post-industrialized society.

Americans were thrilled and openly welcomed the industrialization of America and all the new opportunities and jobs that it brought with it. That said, they were very discriminatory towards immigrants and jumped on board with prohibition which showed they had great concern for the threats that came with city life.
