Greek art in its classical period underwent a transition to depict realistic human forms. Sculptures became more naturalistic, changing from mythological figures to real human figures. The works such as Kritos Boy and Charioteer of Delphi are the notable examples of these changes. Adding the durability and accessibility of marble and bronze to this period's works shows the heightened sense of reality which is similar to the modern hyperrealistic works except it is not bringing the image into real life with the existing ones.

Sense of reality.
Marble painting guarantees a "natural" texture, best light captation and material preservation. In the other hand, the bronze accessories reflects the real weight, forms, and dimensionality in all sculptures where is employing this both techniques.
