Hello!

The dart board is shaped like a circle. Since we have the diameter's measurement already, finding the circumference will be easy.

*Circumference is the perimeter of a circle.

We will find the circumference of the dart board by using the circumference formula:

FORMULA:

C = 2 × 3.14 × r

(I don't have access to the pi symbol from my device, sorry!)

Now, before we can find the circumference, we need to find the radius. Radius is half of the diameter, so this means we'll have to divide 38 by 2.

r = d ÷ 2

r = 38 ÷ 2

r = 19 cm

So, the radius is 19 centimeters. Now we can continue with the circumference.

SUBSTITUTE:

C = 2 × 3.14 × 19

C = 6.28 × 19

C = 119.32

So, the approximate circumference of the dart board is 119 centimeters. (Rounded)
