First turn the mixed fractions into improper fractions so it would be
8/5 + 47/9
Then multiply the denominators by each other and cross cross multiply the fractions
= 72/45 + 235/45
Now the denominators are common, just add
= 307/45
Now just turn back to mixed fractions by seeing how many 45 go into 307
= 6 37/45

Hope this helped.. and hope it’s right too
