The sales Tax Jinney paid will be calculated as follows:
amount of money spent by Jinney 4960.80
amount of sales tax=6%
amount of sales tax paid will be:
(total amount spent)×(percentage tax)/100
=4960.80×6/100
=297.648
She paid 297.648 sales tax
