She leaves the island because of D. the sight of Sir Lancelot.
She was cursed with having to live in her tower for the rest of her life, unable to leave it. She didn't have any problems with that until she spotted Sir Lancelot through the window - this was the moment when she decided to leave her tower, but it was also the moment she died, because of her curse.
