What is the difference in meaning between a crash and an accident

If you crash into somebody in a car, sometimes it could be on purpose because you are not being responsible enough for yourself and your own actions- whilst and accident can be where you are simply stressed or saddened to where you have no control and you may accidentally bump into another car

Those are examples using vehicle references

If you drive a car into something or someone else, you have had/caused a crash. You have not caused an accident because there was nothing 'accidental' about it
