6. Segment YZ and BC are similar. To find “x”, look at at other segments and see the ratio... Segments XY and AB are similar. With those, we get a ratio of 3:9. Since they are similar triangles, the smaller triangle just needs to be multiplied by 3 to get to the size of the bigger triangle. In this case, we would multiply each segment of the smaller triangle by 3. So to find “x” or segment BC just multiply segment YZ by 3.

2x3=6.
