Here exactly the five color morphs of the species are not mentioned so we consider parasitic orchid plants and their host plants interaction. The ecological interaction among the species in an environment is the ecological interaction. Some orchid plants lack chlorophyll and hence cannot undergo photosynthesis hence are parasitic. In an experiment in a particular area, five different orchid plant species was found. So without doing any scientific experimentation, the observation made on the basis of color it was considered that there were five different species. In order for a definite conclusion, the host and orchid plants were examined and if it was found that the host plant was different in the different color morphed plant the species was concluded to be a unique species. Therefore, to study ecological interactions it is necessary to know whether the five color morphs are unique species.
