The line, y = - x, makes an angle of 45 degrees with the x and y axis means 135 degrees with the positive direction of the x-axis.

When a point (p,q) is reflected over the line, y=x, the coordinates of the reflected point will be (q,p)

And, when point (p,q) is reflected over the line, y= -x, the coordinates of the reflected point will be (-q, -p).

So, when point (2,5) is reflected over the line, y= - x, the coordinates of the reflected point will be (-5,-2).

If reflected over the line , y=x, the point (2,5) will transform to (5,2).
