The perimeter of the parallelogram end is 2*(8 +5) = 26 cm. The product of that and the depth gives the lateral area.
The area of the parallelogram ends is 2*8*3, so the total area is
.. surface area = (26 cm)*(7 cm) +2*(8 cm)*(3 cm) = 230 cm^2
