(-x)/(2) +(3)/(2) < (5)/(2)

to solve the inequality, we have to isolate x

So

subtract
(3)/(2) from both sides

(-x)/(2) < (5)/(2) -(3)/(2)

(-x)/(2) < (2)/(2)

Multiply both sides by 2

-x<2

Multiply both sides by -1 , to make x positive , it will flip the inequality sign

x>-2
