ASEAN stands for Association of Southeast Asian Nations
Established in 1967 to form integration and cooperation among Southeast Asian nations towards economic and cultural growth. The association also ensures peace and stability within the region among its members and external forces.
Currently, there are 10 ASEAN members: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam. technically, the people of these countries are being served by the association.
