The domain for f(x) and g(x) is the set of all real numbers.

Let f(x) = 2x2 + x − 3 and g(x) = x − 1.

Find f(x) • g(x).

x2 − 4x + 3

2x3 − x2 − 4x + 3

2x3 − 4x2 + 3

2x3 − x2 + 4x − 3

(2x2 + x − 3 )(x − 1.)

= 4x3 + x2 - 3x - 2x2 - x + 3

= 4x3 - x2 - 4x + 3

Answer:

b.
2x^(3) +x^(2) -4x+3

Explanation:

f(x)=2x^(2) +x-3\\g(x)=x-1

To find the product of these functions, each part of g(x) should be multiplied with each part of f(x)

g(x)*f(x)\\=(x-1)*(2x^(2) +x-3)\\=2x^(3) +x^(2) -3x-2x^(2) -x+3\\=2x^(3) -x^(2) -4x+3
