Find the invers of f(x)
f(x) = 2x - 6
y = 2x - 6
y + 6 = 2x
2x = y + 6
x = (y + 6)/2
f⁻¹(x) = (x + 6)/2
Solve f⁻¹(x) for x = 2
Subtitute x with 2
f⁻¹(x) = (x + 6)/2
f⁻¹(x) = (2 + 6)/2
f⁻¹(x) = 8/2
f⁻¹(x) = 4
The answer is 4

Let f(x) = 5x + 12. Find f−1(x). Let f(x) = x + 8 and g(x) = x2 − 6x − 7. Find f(g(2)). Let f(x) = twenty four over the quantity of 3 x minus two. Find f(−2). Can Someone explain how to do this? Thanks
