No. Thomas Paine is known for two major terms: criticism and passion. His fame rose because he was a very passionate advocate of anti-slavery, world peace, and social security for the elderly and the poor. However, later in life he became anti-church which made him so unpopular. All these attributes of Paine made him obviously partisan. He could not be considered objective or neutral; thus, his rendition of historical events may be tainted by his political leaning and convictions.
