this is the answer you get when you subtract 1 - 1/4 = 3/4 <=====

if 25% of the jelly beans are red, the probability of red = 25/100 = 1/4

Then the probability of not red = 1 - 1/4 = 3/4

Ans: P(Not red) = 3/4
