Perimeter of triangle drawn by Stewart will be = 3 x length of each side (triangle has 3 sides, all are equal in this problem) i.e. 3 x 2 1/6 = 3 x 13/6 = 13/2 inches Perimeter of square drawn by Judith will be = 4 x length of each side (square has 4 equal sides) i.e. 4 x 1 5/8 = 4 x 13/8 = 13/2 inches From above calculations we found that both the figures have equal perimeters.
