The vertex form of the parabola:

f(x)+a(x-h)^2+k\\\\(h;\ k)-a\ vertex

We have the coordinates of a vertex

(-3;-5)\to h=-3;\ k=-5

substitute:

y=(x-(-3))^2+(-5)=(x+3)^2-5

Answer: A. y = (x + 3)² - 5
