Answer: Nihilism
Nihilism is a philosophical position which argues that values have no real foundation as experience cannot be communicated or known and life has no purpose or meaning. As life has no objective, meaning, purpose or value, all beliefs are baseless.
Nihilism is often associated with pessimism, despair and skepticism. It is most commonly associated with Friedrich Nietzsche and with the loss of religious beliefs and traditional values of modern society. As the view was reformed and popularized by existentialists, it gave rise to antifoundationalism, a popular area of current philosophy.
