Answer:

Distance = 9.8 units

Explanation:

Point B is (-2,5) and point D is (2,-4)

LEts find the distance between these points. USe distance formula

D=√((x_2-x_1)^2 +(y_2-y_1)^2)

(-2,5) is (x1,y1) and (2,-4) is (x2,y2)

Plug in the values and find out the distance

D=√((x_2-x_1)^2 +(y_2-y_1)^2)

D=√((2+2)^2 +(-4-5)^2)

D=√((4)^2 +(-9)^2)

D=√(97)

Distance = 9.8 units
