A rigid transformation is one that preserves all of the distances between points/vertices on an image. Dilation/scaling alters those distances, so A and C can’t qualify for that, and B implies a change in shape entirely, so that wouldn’t be a rigid transformation either. Only D) spinning a spinner would keep the shape the same, without altering any distances.
