Here is your answer:

The proper answer to this question is: x=-6

3(2x+8)=0

Now minus 3 on both sides:

(2x+8)=-3

Now minus 8 on both sides:

(2x)=-12

Now divide 2 bye -12:

-12÷2=-6

Your answer is...

=-6
