Answer: The terrain of the great barrier reef =

The reef actually consists of some 2,100 individual reefs and some 800 fringing reefs (formed around islands or bordering coastlines). Many are dry at low tide; some have islands of coral sand, or cays; and others fringe high islands or the mainland coast of the reef.

The altitude =

The average sea bed level is approximately 40m. The highest point is 1,121m on Hinchinbrook Island. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975 applies to areas between 1,000m below the sea bed to 915m above sea level.

The humidity =

The temperatures are recorded as average maximums of (Celsius) 30 degrees and average minimums of (Celsius) 21 degrees. The Tropical North has an average rainfall of 2010mm (an average of 168mm per month).
