Given that:
Hallie hikes 5 miles in 90 minutes.
She will hike next 2 miles in x minutes.
To find x, we get
5/90 = 2/x
Cross multiply
5x=180
x=36 minutes
Answer: It will take her 36 minutes to hike for next 2 miles.
