Answer:

plato answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Larger population, greater number of states, greater industrial capacity, grew more edible crops, made more cloth and shoes, had more iron and coal deposits, made more firearms and railroad cars, had more railway mileage, had control of seas and so disabled southern trade, had long supply lines that had to be guarded, had good political leadership but timid and ineffective generals, had control of the border states but this muddied the clarity of its cause.

The strengths of the Union's involvement in the civil war are as follows:

- They had a population of 22 million
- Because of the large population, they had many people to grow food and work in factories
- Consequently, they had enough factories (with a lot of workers in them) to make supplies for the Union army
- Availability and usage of Railroads was also a strength
- They had a strong navy

The weaknesses of the Union's involvement in the civil war are as follows:

- The union had to conquer a large area
- They also had to invade unfamiliar territory
