Answer - Haustoria (singular: Haustorium)

Haustoria are modified roots possessed by parasitic plants, which have the ability to penetrate the host plants, connecting them to the conductive system – either the xylem, the phloem, or both. Their connection to the conductive system of the host plat, in turn, provides them with the ability to extract water and nutrients from the host.
