If I had 8 kittens and two are white what fraction of these kittens are not white?what is the simplest form

8 kittens, and 2 are white. To find out the ones that are not white, take the total number of cats minus the number of white cats. 8 - 2 = 6
There are 6 cats that are not white.
The fraction is 6/8. For this fraction, divide the numerator and denominator by 2, because they are both divisible by 2.
That should get you 3/4.
3/4 of the cats are not white.

3/4 because the denominator is 8 which is all the kittens you have and 8-2=6 which is the amount of kittens that are not white and the numerator.
