surface area of a cylinder A= 2
r h+2
r^2
A=2x3.14x8x16+(2x3.14x8x8)=803.84+401.92=1,205.76

Use the formula for the SA of cylinder to solve which is 2pir^2 + Pi r h.
Plug in the values for each variable and that will be the surface area.
