C: 50

This is because there are 180 degrees in a triangle so if you subtract 80 you get 100.

Since it has congruent legs, the base angles will be equal to each other.

100/ 2 = 50

Hope this helps! Any questions let me know :)

The measure of each of the two base angles is 50°.

What is the angle sum property of a triangle?

In a triangle, the sum of all three angles is equal to 180°.

Given,

One of the angles = 80°

Also, the two base angles are equal by symmetry.

Let, the base angles be x.

By angle sum property we have:

x + x + 80° = 180°

2x + 80° = 180°

2x = 180° - 80°

2x = 100°

x = 50°

Hence, the measure of each of the two base angles is 50°.
