Find the value of k for which the point (-1,3) lies on the graph of the equation 2x-y+k=0

2x-y+k=0
Given point is (-1,3)
So here x=-1 and y=3
Put values in equation.
2(-1)-3+k=0
-2-3+k=0
-5+k=0
k=5

Answer: k=5
