You can easily calculate the volume of a cone once you have the height and the radius to place them in the formula to calculate the volume.
The formula to calculate the volume of a cone is:
v = hπr ^ 2/3
Substituting the values we have:
v = (15) * (π) * ((12) ^ 2) / 3
v = 2261.946711
Nearest whole number:
v = 2262 cm ^ 3
Answer:
The approximate volume of the right cone is:
v = 2262 cm ^ 3
Note: the answer is not among the options.
Probably another option is missing.
