The correct answer is C.

The musical 'Hair' opened at the Biltmore Theater on April 29, 1968.

The shows is about a young man called Claude, a member of a hippies group, who is on the verge of being drafted.

The show was controversial from the very beginning. Profanity, bad language, without clothes scenes and disrespect of the American flag were the main issues that offended the audience. Sex and drugs were glorified and homosexuality seen as something perfectly normal.

Despite the critics the musical was a success because it represented the true voice of young people in that particular period of time.
