Select the equation in which the graph of the line has a negative slope and the y-intercept equals 10.

A. 10x + 5y = -25

Option A:
10x + 5y = -25
5y = -10x - 25
y = -2x - 5
slope = -2 (therefore negative)
y intercept = -5 (not 10)

Option B:
5x - 10y = -12
10y = 5x + 12
slope is positive

Option C:
20x + 5y = 50
5y = -20x + 50
y = -4x + 10
slope = -4 (negative)
y intercept = 10

Take C and convert it to slope-intercept form

20x + 5y = 50
5y = -20x + 50
y = -4x + 10

That s the one
