Option A:
y + 2 = 3(x -1)
y + 2 = 3x - 3
y = 3x - 3 - 2
y = 3x - 5
∴Slope = 3

At (1, -2), x = 1
y = 3(1) - 5 = -2
∴ (1, -2) is on the line
