(b) min. are in points (0;1) and (2;1).

P.S. if it is possible, check max. in other sources, this point is chosen using property of f '.

a) We are looking for the places where f has a relative maximum value. This means that the graph changes from increasing to decreasing, peaking at one point. The maxima of is x = 1

b) The minimum is the opposite. It is where the graph changes from decreasing to increasing. This graph has two minima at x = 0 and x = 2.
