It's possible for it to be factored after factoring set both numbers equal to 0 and solve and you should get 9 and -8

Alright, lets get started.

The given function is
x^2 - x - 72.

For finding its zeros, we need to first factor this function and then set it equal to zero.

x^2 - x -72

(x-9)(x+8)= 0

(x-9) = 0

x = 9

(x+8) = 0

x = -8

Hence the zeros are 9 and -8 of given function. : Answer

Hope it will help :)
