domain is the x

so replace the given numbers for x to calculate Y

y = 2(-1) -3 = -2-3 = -5

y = 2(0) -3 = 0-3 = -3

y = 2(5) -3 = 10-3 = 7

range {-5,-3,7}

domain = x
range = y

when the domain is -1
y = 2(-1) - 3
y = -2 - 3
y = -5
range is -5

When the domain is 0
y = 2(0) - 3
y = 0 - 3
y = -3
range is -3

when the domain is 5
y = 2(5) - 3
y = 10 - 3
y = 7
range is 7

The range is { -5, -3, 7 }

hope this helps
