1000 tickets were sold. Adult tickets cost 8.50 pounds, children's cost 4.50 pounds, and a total of 7300 pounds was collected. How many tickets of each kind were sold?

700 adult tickets, 300 children tickets.
700x8.50= 5950 pounds
300x4.50= 1350 pounds

that's 700+300=1000 tickets
and 5950+1350=7300 pounds
