You can also conclude that the amount of pure acid being used is 860 milliliters. So, from this, you're able to fill in 2 parts of the equation:

0.18 • x = 860 mL

Now, all there's left to do is solve for x! To do this ,you'll need to rearrange the multiplication problem into a division problem.

860 / 0.18 = x

x = 43000/9 or 4777.7
