Factors of 14 b= 1 b, 2 b, 7 b, 14 b

Factors of 7= 1,7

Now, 1 4 b-7

= 7 × 2 b - 7

= 7 × ( 2 b -1)→→→[Used Converse of Distributive property of Multiplication with respect to Subtraction]

Find the common denominators for 14 and 7

7 is the common denominator

factor it out

14b - 7

7(2b - 1)

7(2b - 1) is your answer
