First find the slope using (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)

(-2-4)/(5+16) = -6/21 or -2/7

Then plug in one of the points into y-y=m(x-x)

y + 2 = (-2/7)(x - 5)

Distribute the slope.

y + 2 = -2x/7 + 10/7

Subtract 2

y = -2x/7 - 4/7

So the answer is A.
